Hands teach you how to check the power regulator
In order to use it safely, when we get a new power regulator, we should check it first. Now let's talk about some key points of checking the power regulator.
1、 Check the control board
Check whether the control panel is damaged during transportation. If there is obvious damage, please contact our company. Then open the control panel, check whether there are wires that have moved or fallen off due to the impact of transportation, and tighten all terminals with a screwdriver.
Turn over the control board, check whether the connecting screws between the copper bar and SCR module are loose, and tighten the screws if they are loose.
2、 Check the transformer
When applying transformer primary side voltage regulation, check the transformer before use.
Disconnect the connection between the primary side and the secondary side of the transformer, and check with a multimeter that the resistance of the primary side to the secondary side, the primary side to the ground and the secondary side to the ground of the transformer should not be less than 1M Ω.
Check whether the clamping screws of the transformer are loose, and whether the silicon steel sheet is loose, and tighten the bolts.
3、 Check load
Disconnect the load power supply in the furnace, measure the resistance of the heating wire to the ground with a multimeter to check whether it meets the requirements. Once two of them are short-circuited to the ground, the three-phase current and voltage will be uneven, and the power regulator will give an overcurrent alarm, and even damage the control panel in serious cases.
Check whether the heating wire in the furnace is disconnected or loose.
When the resistance of the heating wire to the ground meets the requirements, it can be connected to the secondary side of the transformer and the bolts can be fastened. Poor contact caused by loose bolts can also cause damage to the control panel. Check whether the heating wire in the furnace is broken or loose. When the resistance of the heating wire to the ground meets the requirements, it can be connected with the secondary side of the transformer and the bolts can be tightened. If the bolts are loose, resulting in poor contact, the control panel may also be damaged.
The above is how to check the power regulator. I hope it will help you
